Every year, around 500 billion plastic bags are produced globally — 35 billion in Turkey alone. These bags are used for just 12 minutes on average but can take up to 1,000 years to decompose. They pollute our land and seas, harming wildlife like fish, birds, and sea turtles.
This campaign urges Migros, one of Turkey’s largest supermarket chains, to lead the change by replacing plastic bags with eco-friendly alternatives such as paper and reusable fabric bags. With over 3,000 stores, Migros can spark a nationwide shift toward sustainability.
We call on Migros to:
– Replace plastic bags with paper and cloth options.
– Promote reusable bags with discounts or incentives.
– Expand biodegradable and recyclable packaging options.

“Protect Water Resources” is a nationwide awareness campaign launched to highlight the growing global threat of water scarcity and to promote sustainable water use. With over 3 billion people expected to face water shortages after 2025, the campaign aims to create lasting change by educating the public starting in schools.
Our goal is to raise awareness among both students and adults through school programs and seminars focused on water conservation, smart usage at home and in the workplace, and proper storage and purification methods.
We call on the Ministry of National Education to integrate water awareness into school curricula to help build a conscious and responsible generation for a sustainable future.
